• Name of the Court
• At what stage the proceedings have reached
• If there are at present solicitors already instructed
• And if in custody, the inmate number.

None of this information is crucial for an initial inquiry, but may assist us in taking on a new matter speedily.

We operate a 24 hour emergency service for persons who have been arrested and are being held in Police custody or for other urgent enquiries.

We can provide immediate advice over the telephone, and when necessary arrange for an arrested person to be represented at the police station both before and during interviews by the police.

We recognise the importance of an arrested person receiving prompt and competent legal advice at the police station both prior to and during interviews by police.

Legal advice by an independent advisor may be critical at the interview stage, especially now that the right to silence has been eroded.
